An update

10 years ago I read a blog post named On Parenthood by Jeff Atwood. At the time I had no small humans of my own. In the post he talks about how when you have children your old self ceases to exist and you become a different person. He had one child, but he and his wife were expecting twins. A comment caught my eye and stuck with me “By february this blog will be dead.”

In 2019, we added our second and third children to our Little family and while Atwood occasionally posts to his blog now, his posts are infrequent. I have not posted since the twins arrived. Small children are hard work, they aren’t supposed to be anything else. Small children during COVID has been interesting, but as Atwood suggested, at least 51% of the time they are a delight.

Now they are a little older will I have more time to post, perhaps…
